The “Endurance Racing Edition” special model of the 991 Carrera S was developed jointly by Porsche Exclusive and Porsche Motorsport in the run-up to the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Only 235 units of this special model were built.
The special features of the Carrera S Endurance Racing Edition include a centre armrest with embossed “Porsche Intelligent Performance” lettering, decorative stripes on the flanks, and three black longitudinal stripes across the roof and bonnet. The bonnet echoes the ‘Porsche Intelligent Performance’ theme. The exterior mirror housings and window surrounds are also finished in black. The 20-inch wheels are also black. The interior is enhanced by carbon fibre trim, red seatbelts and red-edged floor mats. In addition, the sports steering wheel features a red 12 o’clock marker and special door sill guards which, like the trim panel on the dashboard, bear the ‘911 Carrera S Endurance Racing Edition’ lettering.
